Mediterra is the Southern European Data Center business backed by PEIF III, a fund managed by DWS Infrastructure. It intends to bring Premium Data Centers in strategic digital cities for a wide range of clients including manufacturing companies, financial institutions, large local and multinational enterprises, hyperscalers and IT services providers in the market.

We provide regional data center with an international outreach
Among the new challenges for Data Centers, today we are seeing a strong concentration of investments in strategic cities like Milan, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Frankfurt, which means that provider or consumer (in this case, enterprises) can be found in a few locations. Users who need access to Cloud or AI world must therefore be present in FLAP-like cities to be close to the source of information. This creates an unbalance that represents a huge opportunity to take for Mediterra. If different players of the digital world are present in more countries and territories, offering their digital infrastructure to regional cities, every actor of the sector will take advantage of enormous benefits.
